Pennyroyal is a boutique product design studio specializing in a variety of premium-quality jewelry and collectibles for wholesale clients and licensing partners.
From its humble beginnings at a coffee table in 2005, to partnering with some of the most iconic brands in the world, Pennyroyal's goal has always remained the same; to create objects that connect people to the things that are important to them.
Tim Foster- Founder / Creative Director
Pennyroyal was founded by Tim Foster in 2006 following a short few years in Marketing & Artist Development at a major record company. As chief designer and creative director, Tim brings his diverse design and production experience, and his penchant for detail to every project.
Tim is originally from Minnesota and has called Los Angeles home for 20 years. He is a lifelong drummer and enjoys sailboat racing, paddle boarding, hiking, biking, and traveling with his wife, Danna.

Monroe Grisman- Senior Vice President
Based in San Francisco, CA, Monroe is an accomplished merchandising and brand executive with over 20 years of experience working with a variety of top entertainment clients and merchandise companies.
Monroe joined the Pennyroyal team in 2012 and his broad skill set in artist relations, merchandising, licensing and marketing makes him uniquely qualified to oversee the development and execution of merchandising and brand franchise management.
Monroe is a talented guitar player with deep familial roots in the San Francisco music scene and has been in a successful Tom Petty tribute band called “Petty Theft” for the past 15 years.
Danna Foster- Project Manager
Danna oversees project management and production at Pennyroyal, keeping timelines, communication, and day-to-day operations running smoothly. She works closely with clients, suppliers, and the internal team to ensure each project moves from concept to delivery with clarity and precision. Her background in organization and operations adds a steady structure to the studio, giving the creative side room to thrive.
A California native, Danna enjoys hiking, interior design, travel, and the deep dive of travel planning. When she is not guiding projects through the pipeline, she is usually mapping out the next adventure or exploring a new place with Tim. Her love of thoughtful planning and well-designed spaces carries naturally into the work she does at Pennyroyal.
